Physician Education

National and International Physicians Continuing Education

TCAI is pioneering a customized educational training program for visiting U.S. and non-U.S. physicians based on observational and in vivo training in hospitals. This program is designed to keep electrophysiologists and cardiologists up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.

TCAI physicians are sharing their experiences with visiting clinicians, enabling them to return home with knowledge and skills that can be directly applied to their practices. TCAI offers intensive clinical training in which fellows are exposed to a large number of procedures, with each experience tailored to the physician's continuing education and career goals.

Visiting clinician work one-on-one with a TCAI physician host, who helps with specific educational goals.

TCAI will assist each participant with:

  • Hospital credentialing privileges
  • Texas Medical Board temporary permit
  • Visa applications
  • Information on housing and accommodations.

With the growth of invasive cardiology in emerging economies, the Institute is currently training a large number of heart catheterization and electrophysiology professionals from around the globe.
