Shirley Seever, RN

Nurse Navigator

Shirley has more than 17 years of combined nursing experience. In 1998, she joined St. David’s Medical Center, where she spent more than a decade in the Medical Surgical unit before moving to the Cardiac and IMC units. She found cardiac nursing very interesting, especially with the various state-of-the-art procedures now available. Shirley ultimately found joy in precepting new and experienced nurses, and believes that educating the patient is the best form of preventive medicine. She joined our team in the Center for Arrhythmias and Atrial Fibrillation in September 2013, and now enjoys the challenges and rewards of educating atrial fibrillation patients about their procedures, and following them closely post operatively.
